I have been looking at an older built house from 90s good condition, fits my requirements, location is suits me. The current asking price is 550k. Now I just started my mortgage application so mostly we should be able to get the mortgage.
I was digging around for that house and I saw that the house was put on sale by a different second real estate agency last year march for 575k and then in January this year again by same second real estate agency for 500k.
I went for viewing today and last week and might have seen 4-5 more couples during those two viewings. I didn’t find any major issue with the house structurally.
Is it a good idea to offer below asking price? Is it a normal thing that people do. I am first time buyer so really new with this.
