What are the limits of my telescope?
I have a Skywatcher - Evostar 90 EQ2 Refractor Telescope. I have two eyepieces for it (10mm and 25mm).
It has 90mm aperture and 910mm focal length. I also have an 80A blue filter.
I am new to the world of telescopes and I have a couple questions.
What's the blue filter really for?
What celestial bodies/astronomical objects am I allowed to see? The other day I managed to see Jupiter's moons and the 2 middle bigger lines. I saw it as a small disc. But I don't know how would I see Mars, Saturn or Uranus (I really doubt the last one)
I also wanted to know if it would be possible for me to see Messier 31 or any nebula
Is this telescope good to see Venus? When I pointed the telescope at it I just saw something more like a star rather than a planet.
Also, are there any sort of cameras for telescopes? I try searching for them on the internet but it's all about possitioning your phone.
Any help would be useful.
Thank you in advance!!!
