The Knights and Sherma enjoy music. Hornet endures as always (by me, ink and paper)
Inspired by scenes in several fanfics on AO3. In particular, Hollow is heavily based on a panel in To Bind Our Echoes That We May Be Whole.

Quite happy with the mural and the preaching pulpit.
Hello everyone. I'm reusing a lot of plastic toys and pipes and the like, but I'm getting the impression that the surfaces are slightly anti-stick. The paint flakes off a little easily, even when thoroughly primed with spray paint, and the primer is also coming off.
Do any of you have a trick for making reused plastic toys more receptive to paint? Sanding them a bit, maybe giving them a light treatment with some chemical to destroy a potential anti-stick surface? Or something brilliant but unorthodox?
Any advice will be appreciated.
Here's a handful of buildings I've made. It's an interesting spread.
The brick buildings are plastic buildings from this set set, which I found parts of at the local recycling center:
Then there are plastic crate buildings, which I'm quite happy with. Again, from the recycling station, where the plastic crates are plentiful and begging to become L-corners xD:
And then a mix, mostly cardboard and some destroyed old toys:
