Where from here
So today we have heard that unemployment levels have risen again. Employment rates amongst the young are the worst hit. Business groups are calling for "pro-growth" strategy from the government (I read this as cut costs) but my feeling is that we need to continue with ensuring companies are paying a decent minimum wage and contributing to the economy. Otherwise aren't we just keeping stuck in the rut of allowing low wages and having to pick up the slack in welfare?
