First let me just state I am an America first type of person not in the toxic way that far right republicans are…but in the sense that I love my country and everything it offers even though sometimes there is so much wrong in our country. I’m a 31 male with three kids and a girlfriend, with a career in petrochemical refining. I distill oil into various hydrocarbon products including gasoline. I believe that we as a nation can be technologically capable of using renewable energy and maybe even being net zero. I’m just curious as some of you may be more informed what is the plan for refinery workers such as myself who could see something like this become reality as far the green new deal or other renewable energy initiatives…I’m not very knowledgeable outside of 5 second tik toks, reels, and bill Maher. Haha any good reading or sources…
