Why have we been cursed with this popping sound every time I select a word?? 😩 I hate it

It’s so distracting I’m considering not using it any more. Finishing a lesson is so annoying with this stupid sound. It adds zero value, and instead detracts many from using the app. I have a 1062 days streak but I‘m seriously so put off by all the recent annoying changes, and this one is a bit too much for me.
