So got into an argument with a random online about politics, and normally I have a lol and move on once the argument gets a bit silly, but this one astounded me and wondered if ya'll could help me clear something up. We were arguing about Trump, and this MAGA fella used an image of Ren and one of his lyrics to drive home his point. I pointed out the irony of using Ren and his lryics to try to "win" a pro-MAGA argument when Ren is anti-Trump himself (I believe). This guy refused to accept it and claimed that even the song Money Games with the Mr President verse is not directed at Trump but at any and all western presidents and the being terrorised in the streets line is directly referencing the left and is more about colonialism. This seemed insane to me. Is there any link or anything anywhere where Ren himself has directly stated his stance on Trump or MAGA or anything like that?
