i've been with my boyfriend for a year. recently made new friends at uni and they've hinted at my partner being ugly/not "on my level". initially i didnt let this affect me too much because it's my relationship anyway but it seems that they really place an emphasis on the attractiveness of a partner and this has been a topic of convo several times alr

i'm just not sure what to do bc obv i love my bf but it just feels weird that friends would say these things
