Studying Electrical and Information Engineering at Imperial to Quant possible?

I will be studying EIE aka EECS at Imperial College London, and was wondering whether its possible to get into a T1/high T2 firm from my course.

It is not the flagship Joint Maths + CS course that really is a quant funnel but is more engineering based. I will be taking more of the CS modules in my final year if possible.
I also hold an offer to study Physics instead of EIE should I choose to do so.

I believe its a bit more direct to do QR/SWE instead of QT but would like to hear opinions.

My question is should i do EIE or Physics for quant. Or is quant not possible from such courses at Imperial and I should aim for FAANG SWE or adjacent instead?

I realise QT is more difficult needing Cambridge Maths/Imperial Maths.

I also hold offer for Cambridge Engineering but cant go for separate reasons. Hoping to hear advice/guidance.
