One of my family members was insured under Medi-Cal. He received a letter stating that his coverage would be discontinued at the end of March, but it did not specify a reason. We visited a local social services office and submitted some documents, such as monthly pay stubs. It is now mid May, and we haven’t received an update. My questions are:

1. How can I find out if his coverage is still active or if it definitely ended in March?

2. What is the best way to get his renewal approved? I believe all the necessary information has been submitted and that he qualifies, but I haven't been able to reach a caseworker by phone.
