Hey everyone, hope you’re all doing well.

I had a quick question and was hoping someone here might be able to help.

I’ve got my medical coming up for my NZ visa, but I’m a bit concerned about cannabis showing up in my system. I don’t smoke daily, but it’ll probably still be detectable when I do the medical.

From what I’ve read so far, the medical is mainly focused on overall health and checking for conditions that could place a strain on the healthcare system, rather than testing for recreational drugs. Most things I’ve seen seem to suggest cannabis in your system isn’t an automatic fail.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this or knows for sure. I’d really appreciate any insight.
