What would you, random person, say is the “ideal” handheld for my situation?
I had the gcloud and hated the thumb sticks. I had the Odin 2 portal, same thing. I had the white Xbox ally and really liked it. Sold it months ago but am leaning towards getting it again. Steam deck is likely a no brainer but they are unavailable new, and rarely come up refurbished. Everything locally in marketplace is priced way too high as well. Cost is the biggest issue for the white ally. I loved my switch, love the switch 2 (esp with a grip). Love the ps portal. Still none of those two fit my current wants:
Use:
-streaming from my Xbox or Xcloud when away from home.
-streaming pxplay
-moonlight /artemis for pc streaming
-emulation up to gc. Wii U and switch would be great. Not a deal breaker.
-indie and light native gaming
Must have:
-GOOD thumbsticks
-ergonomics! Must be comfortable to hold. This is obviously subjective but smaller mini style handhelds aren’t for me.
Don’t require: i would rather be able to hold and play something fun than be able to put it in my pocket, so nothing particularly small. OS isn’t a big issue either, android of windows. Although I didn’t like how many freaking updates the Xbox ally had and how resource heavy windows is.
Thoughts?
