Need advice on RSO tincture usage
Got some Treeworks RSO tincture from Ascend. My partner and I wanted something that is not inhaled but works faster than edibles. The budtender there said to put it under the tongue and then swish around for a while and it’d be fast. We took .25ml which should be the same 5mg THC as the edibles we use.
Reader, it was not fast. By the time we went to bed an hour and a half later neither of us felt a damn thing.
In reading the label and then reading around it seems this is MCT-based, and alcohol-based tinctures are good sublingually but I already spent the money on this and people had recommended Treeworks. Is there any way to make this work fast without having to buy a water or alcohol based tincture? Can I mix it into a half shot of bourbon or something and swish that around for a bit? Or do I need to just use this as an edible alternative and get something else, in which case what?
