I was in a car accident and was prescribed Tizanidine Hydrochloride(2mg tablets, 1-2 at bedtime). The very first time I took 1 tablet months ago I could barely walk because I felt so drowsy. I started taking it a few times a week (not every day) in bed until I ran out of my 30 pill supply. Waited about 6 weeks after finishing the last bottle to get my refill. I’m half way through the new bottle and I feel nothing with these new pills, neither drowsiness nor muscle relaxation. I’ve even upped my dose to 2 pills, have tried both with food and on an empty stomach. I honestly don’t think these are doing anything, like a placebo. But they are the exact same pills from the exact same pharmacy. Has my body already adjusted tolerance?
