I want to visit Mumbai
Hey everyone,
I am from Rajkot but
I recently visited Mumbai for a few days and honestly fell in love with the city. The vibe, energy, people — everything felt exciting, and now I really want to come back and stay there for some time.
The problem is that I don’t really have money right now, so I’m looking for ways to manage living there while doing some work/jobs. I’m 17, from Gujarat, and I’m ready to work hard and learn anything useful.
I’ve heard there are some places called “wadi” or community accommodations where people from the same caste/community can stay for low cost or sometimes even free. I’m Patel, so if anyone knows about Patel wadis/trusts/hostels/community stays in Mumbai, please let me know.
I’m also looking for:
Any small jobs/work opportunities
Places where I can stay temporarily for cheap or free
Advice from people who moved to Mumbai young
Any NGOs, hostels, community trusts, or student accommodations that could help
I’m not looking for luxury at all, just a safe place to stay and some work so I can experience living in Mumbai for a while and figure things out.
