I have a really hard time falling asleep, but have none of the traditional symptoms of Insomnia. Help appreciated!

Hello, I'm finally getting fed up with laying in bed for hours on end, never being able to sleep, and starting to research into what may be up with me.

No matter what I try (no screens, eating/not eating, my alarm is at the same time and I never hit snooze, etc) it is always quite hard for me to fall asleep, with the single exception of being up for ~25-30h+, or running on <90 minutes of sleep, and even in these cases it normally still takes maybe 45 minutes to finally pass out.

Some key points:

This has been going on since I was about 13, and I'm 22 now.

I'm basically never tired throughout the day. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I was tired in the middle of the day except when I've been up for at LEAST 24 hours, and even then it's only every now and then. Only after being in bed for 2+ hours do I finally get tired enough for the sleep to start, though I wouldn't say I feel all too tired even in the last few 10s of minutes before.

I don't feel like this is negatively impacting my life outside of A. Staying awake lying in bed for hours, and B. Genuinely not understanding how people are always tired so much (not trying to be insensitive truly, it's just not something I can relate to at all).

I wake up energized and can get up very easily no matter how much sleep I got.

I'm not depressed, rarely get sad, and I live a very stress-free life. I'm not kept up by intrusive thoughts or feelings about past or future events.

Caffine seems to have no effect on me, be it wake me up or make me tired.

I haven't seen a doctor yet, so if the only piece of advice I can get here is to see one, then so be it. Just wanted to see if there's anything to do before that step.
