Message to Newer Users From the Mod Team

It has come to our attention that newer users have been frustrated with our automatic filtering of posts from accounts that are not established in this community. Allow me to address this issue so you can hopefully stop deleting your posts or end up getting banned from Reddit as a whole because of their anti-bot measures.

First, we do not allow accounts that have not actively participated in the comments section of posts in this community to have automatic approval of their posts. The bar here is not set very high, but it prevents bots or alts from posting porn.

Second, all you have to do is post and then wait for a mod to approve it. If your post is good, there will be no issues here. We approve basically everything as long as some measure of effort went into it, it isn't AI and it isn't too NSFW.

So please, don't think that we're playing favorites because other members get priority access to post approval. We have good historical reasons for having these safeguards in place. And for the love of god, please read the automoderator comment telling you specifically to wait for a mod to approve your post.

Mobile User Discord Link Issues

It was brought to our attention that the mobile version of Reddit uses the old.reddit links which may have sent to you a random discord server. We have since changed this link and it should now send you to the correct server.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Going Forward

Greetings,

I won't pretend that this message greets many of you well. Having had a discussion with a particularly convincing user who goes by StruggleSimple, the moderator team has come to the conclusion that proactive moderation of discussion topics has had a negative affect on the community. Perhaps to the point where you may feel like we are gatekeeping opinions or that you will be punished for having certain views.

Rest assured, this was never the case, though we have heard and do understand why many of you may feel like it was. The lack of moderation transparency due to Reddit's rule against discussing moderator actions has led to a large portion of users believing two things:

  1. that we ban users frequently and
  2. that we ban users for their opinions that we may disagree with.

The only things that we ban users for are disrespectful comments, like personal attacks, repetitively using expletives where none are called for, etc. and for posting repeated sexual or AI generated content.

However, allow me to be transparent. We do not ban users frequently at all. The ban list currently stands at only 16 members, most of whom are bots or were involved in the Yuki Incident last year, out of over 80,000 members. And those who received bans were for one of the two reasons pointed out above. I can't discuss specifics.

Going forward you will see less of the mod team in your day to day on the sub. We will still monitor for rules violations, but we will be more lenient so feel free to speak your mind on any topic related to Roshidere as long as it remains reasonably respectful of the others you are speaking to. Please also observe the spoiler rule when talking about new information as usual and mark your posts NSFW if called for.

This being said, comments will only be moderated if a user, other than a moderator, reports them for good cause or if they blatantly violate a rule we've established (such as posting inappropriate imagery in the comments section).

And lastly, I would like to personally express my apologies to the community for the lack of transparency, the sometimes overzealous administration of our rules and for any feelings that you cannot express yourself here that these two things may have caused. Individuals who have been affected inappropriately have had their restrictions lifted or reduced and apologies issued directly to them. It is my sincere hope that moving forward I can show through action that this is a safe space to express yourself with regards to the Roshidere series free from moderator bias and that you can accept this apology from me personally as a token of good will going forward.

New Wallpaper; Serious Question

Source

Let's ignore how Masha and Alya are going to reconcile, how do you think Kuze and Alya are going to reconcile? Because I think the worst that can happen is Alya gets mad at Masha and they have a "sister quarrel" so to speak.

But Kuze is someone Alya has been building trust with in addition to her romantic feelings, unlike her sister who has had her trust for quite a while. Do you think the blowout with Kuze will be greater or lesser and why?

Or, do you think nothing will happen at all? (Not spoiling the final chapters of vol. 11, but a certain someone says a certain thing that may become big in coming events.)
