Just got the CTB 26 and it’s so uncomfortable

Why is this suggested so often? I’m actually shocked at how bad the harness is for a $300 bag. It’s like the design process stopped at the straps and they said “yeah let’s make them skinny and short and bunch up.

I’ve mostly used hunting, hiking, and tactical branded backpacks the last few years. So maybe I’m expecting too much out of these brands.

But is there any EDC everyday/travel bag 26-30L that’s actually comfortable? I have the Vertx Siege 35L and it’s one of the most comfortable backpacks I’ve ever had, but it’s too tactical and I want a travel style bag. Separate laptop from main storage.

Suggestions on Sizing for Diaper x Tech/EDC

I’m looking at the Evergoods CTB 26L for a diaper bag and edc/tech bag.

I have my baby with me everywhere I go, but I also (unfortunately) need to bring work with me everywhere as well.

I also like an edc bag myself to essentially have a go bag and have almost everything I need with me at any moment.
Laptop, IPad, Chargers, I edc a FujiFilm x100vi for photos, are the big items and then various pouches for chargers and medical stuff. For my daughter I like to have plenty and am not really a light packer with her. I fill a Patagonia Black Hole pouch for an emergency kit, but will have extra diapers, bottles, cans of formula, spare clothes, toys, pacifiers, etc. What I’ve learned is you can never have enough stuff with you with a baby. Every single time I’ve slimmed my bag down, I’ve regretted it.

Anyone else use a bag in this way they love? I was also considering the Max EDC for that front dump pouch or even something like from Peak Designs travel bag.

Body type wise for sizing. I am 6’1 220lbs and do some body building so more muscular ( but also I won’t turn down a beer, pizza, or a cookie) type build. So something like 35L may not look enormous on me? Maybe?

Any suggestions welcomed.

Turkish In-Laws are Nightmares

Traditionally as an American I’m used to being very independent. Our parents tend to be hands off the moment we turn 18. Not saying this is a good thing. As my parents essentially don’t assist us with anything. At least not often.

Currently we live in a paid apartment by them, despite me and my wife making plenty of money. And I’m grateful for all their help, but every step they help they cause two steps of headaches. We were going to purchase a house until my in-laws didn’t agree with the location. ~20 minutes from them being “too far”. Father in Law went full drama queen “I’ll just move back to Turkey and die there” and on and on. MIL is the same way. If it’s not their way it’s a full on shit fit and they just make my wife’s life a living hell. And she has this toxic dependency on them.

Everything just has to be an ordeal. I feel insane. It’s like living in a drama tv show. Nothing can be simple with these people. I know you have the term “kaynana” but man, they make me regret everything. And my wife is the best thing that’s ever happened to me, but they are both the most helpful and the worst. It’s just so confusing and toxic.

I visited Turkey and all of her family is this way. It’s always drama.

I know Turks are not a monolith and this probably isn’t the norm. but figuring I see you guys have a word for a nightmare mother in law you may have advice? Do I just ignore them? Play the drama game right back at them? Move to the moon? Or just deal with it until they die or I die?
