Was the competition for FMS just unusually intense this year?
Got rejected from Financial Mathematics and Statistics on Friday with strong IB predicted score and TMUA.
Genuinely confused about what might have been the weak point in my application. My PS was probably more oriented toward pure maths rather than stats/finance specifically. I am wondering if it have hurt my chances, or this course was just massively oversubscribed this year and competition really strong enough for these stats to not be enough.
