TLDR I want to know how good modrinth’s launcher is for steam deck and how I’d install it onto one. I know Prism exists and is recommended but I’d rather rock with Modrinth.
I’m considering picking up a Steam Deck and one game I wanna play is my modded Cobblemon pack. My experience modding is very limited and I’ve only used the Modrinth Launcher, I like its simplicity! When researching modded Minecraft for Steam Deck it’s almost universally recommended to use the Prism Launcher. While I’m sure I could figure it out I’d rather stick with what I know works, especially since all my friends who know less about PC gaming use modrinth’s launcher for our multiplayer sessions. I just want to save myself the stress, I found learning modrinth and Minecraft modding in general to be very stressful for me to learn, and I just wanna skip the learning curve of a new launcher and get to the fun part.
