Extension Tubes? Bronica GS-1
Medium length post TLDR- I want pointers for using extension tubes with Bronica GS-1 or just in general tbh. Primary lenses I'll be using are the 110mm macro & 50mm wide angle if that helps.
I've been kicking the idea around in my head of using an extension tube on my Bronica GS-1 to take close up photos of wild flowers or whatever else is super neat while I'm out hiking. potentially even portraits (eyeballs n such). I have zero experience using them & wanted just some more info or pointers about extension tubes. For example.. say I am casting a shadow over my subject what's the ideal way to light up the subject? a mirror? a flash? a soft flash?
I've read the manual on the G-18 & G-36 tubes It mentions using a matte focusing screen which seems backwards to me as I find it extremely difficult to focus with a matte screen. Combine that with the AE prism for TTL metering, I can't focus for shit.
