I had completed a survey a few hours ago and it has been approved now. The study was posted for $5 in prolific, but in the first page of the study, it mentioned that I'll be rewarded $6 for completing the study.

The researcher name is a university. I have received the full $5, and understand that they have no obligation to pay anything other than that.

But I'm just curious whether it would be ok to contact the researcher about the mismatch in mentioned payment in the nicest way. I'm just worried that they might blocked me out as a participant for their future studies.

Has anyone faced similar dilemma and contact researcher before?
