Hey guys I just picked up crusader kings three maybe a month ago when it was on sale. I’ve been having a blast with it starting many new play through and getting g as far as I can before things kind of fall apart and making a new game (I know I should keep playing when things go south it’s just hard for me to see all my effort get undone)
I had just started a new playthrough and actually ended up becoming queen of Jerusalem after a successful crusade (my mother seduced the pope and if I remember correctly that daughter was his child) I was actually really enjoying repeatedly going back on that save to the founding of Jerusalem and seeing what would happen differently every time and how different choices would impact things, but then the new update came out and I could no longer play that save.
I hadn’t realized that there was an update coming out and other than making stewardship less powerful I’m not even sure what it changed.
I’ve had trouble starting a new game because partly because the big update changed a lot and now I’m hearing that there’s even more big updates coming that’s going to change the game even further. Now all the tutorials I was watching are out of date (or at least I’m not sure what information is still correct versus outdated) I was having a great time learning the game but now I don’t really feel the motivation to play it anymore since it was already a lot to learn and now it feels like if I keep playing and learn those systems that soon they’ll just be all different and I’ll have to relearn the entire game again.
This is probably just a personal issue, but I figured I would share it in case anyone has any advice on how I should handle this and start playing the game again because I really enjoy it. I’m just having trouble with the fact that everything is changing as soon as I started getting into it.
