Good day po,

I was hoping to hike Mt Makiling some time in mid june. I realized na hiking in the Philippines requires permits and fees. I was wondering on how to go about doing this properly. I realize that meron po mga groups na pwede ijoin pero taga Lucena po ako and a lot of them start from Manila which is really inconvenient kung by bus po ang travel method ko and I may have to find a place to stay o/n. I was hoping to do this spontaneously with minimal planning. Would this be possible or is joining a group absolutely necessary? I do think joining a group would be best but again, I just find them inaccessible from Lucena. Would appreciate any takes
