Finally beat Orphan

After 2 days, I have finally slain Orphan of Kos. I finished him off with a visceral attack, just like Ludwig. My next opponent will be Laurence and then I guess Logarius, Amygdala, and Ebrietas before I fight Gehrman. Overall pretty good fight but phase 2 was kinda bullshit.

Should I start leveling Arcane so I can use the Holy Moonlight Sword?

After days of agony, I have finally vanquished Ludwig the Accursed. I am level 51 right now so I think I should start leveling Arcane soon if I want to use his sword. Would a 30 strength-50 Arcane build be good for it? And would it even be worth switching from my +10 Ludwig sword? I was thinking it might be more beneficial to point more points into my vitality at this point but I don’t know. What do you guys recommend?

On my first playthrough and just got through him surprisingly fast for me (like 10-20ish attempts). I was putting it off for days because of all of the bad things I’d heard about the boss. But then I actually started attempting it and not only was it not that bad, it was kind of an enjoyable boss. The dialogue and voice acting is great, of course, but it’s also a surprisingly engaging and rememberable boss. In fact, it might be one of the most unique in all of soulsborne. The chase can be a little annoying but it isn’t difficult, just slightly time consuming. The spawns add a LITTLE extra layer of complexity to the fight (mainly first phase) without totally turning it into a gankfest, which was refreshing after Rom. When you get down to it, the only negative is the one aoe in phase 2, but even that can just be dodged into to deal like either no damage or a little over half hp. I got it down in like 2 attempts. By no means one of the best boss fights in the series but probably one of my personal favorites now.
