I’m unemployed after having a six figure job last year. As a result, I qualify for some things like financial aid for my children’s school. I’m embarrassed to show my W-2s. I think people will think I was irresponsible for going through that much money when I did have the big job. I paid down a lot of things, knowing that the industry was volatile, but like anyone, I could have saved more. Should I accept the financial aid?
