First photo is our current floor plan. I absolutely hate that we do not have a walk in pantry and that the garage access is through a very cramped laundry room. Our friends and family enter our house this way most of the time.

We have a 5 bedroom house with 3 little kids. My oldest boys current share a room and the baby is in our room.

We are only truly utilize 2 rooms in our 5 bedroom house. The master, and bedroom 4. We have a rarely used guest room and then office.

Would you drop down to a 4 bedroom house to add a larger laundry room/ walk in pantry?

Open to other floor plan ideas.

Also would love any insight on cost!
