Anyone living on a housing estate what time are the kids out playing till ?

So I live in a housing estate with about 30 kids and I’m honestly shocked at how late some of the kids are out playing on the street. I had a child no older than 9 years old knock in for my 9 year old at 9.40pm. It’s a common occurrence since the bright evenings started for some kids, all under 10 some as young as 7, to knock in up till 9.30/10pm. I understand it’s bright now till 10pm but kids still have to get up for school in the morning, still need to have a shower and supper before bed so to me a kid out that late is madness. On summer holidays fair enough but on a school night I think it’s too late for kids that age to be still out playing on the street.
It’s my first summer living in a housing estate so curious to know if it’s just my street or would it be the norm ?
