I read this book back in 2008ish, what I remember is a family had just moved to a new area (mom, stepdad, brother and sister) the children go off and explore and eventually find a house in a wooded area. They explore the house a few times. They explore it again and get captured by a witch (typical ugly witch). She keeps them in cages in her basement. The father goes to look for the children. (The details here are fuzzy) but he eventually winds up at a bar, or restaurant where he runs into the witch (who now appears young and irresistible) the witch seduces him at a table in the middle of the establishment. I think he eventually figures everything out and the children are saved. The cover from what I can remember looks like a house in the woods, lots of foliage with the house being in the upper center. I’ve tried google and everything. I think it’s an older book maybe late 90’s early 2000. Mine was paperback
