Thank you everyone! I especially appreciate everyone who has patiently answered my beginner questions. There is a clear need for a community like this.

To re-iterate:
This is a beginner-first community for people learning Go/Baduk/Weiqi.

You do not need to be good at Go to post here. Basic questions are encouraged, and screenshots, SGF files, or board positions are especially helpful.

Experienced players are encouraged to answer! But please be kind and patient. There are no bad questions.

Flow state vs technical reading

I've been playing for about a month and noticed that sometimes I enter a flow state where I'm placing stones quickly and intuitively. Until, I make a mistake and then try to force myself to slow down and read the board and some moves ahead. Should I be trying to read the board and as many moves ahead as possible, at all times? How do the pros do it?

Is it normal to have no idea when a game is actually over?

There's times when im playing the computer and im sitting there waiting for the computer to pass so that I can pass and end the game. Presumably i'm doing something wrong though. yes, i'm a noob.

If i don't see any moves, but the computer is making moves, does that mean I am missing something?
