Sitters/Walkers who live in big cities or densely populated areas, what's it like for you?

I live in a major city and Rover has been a bit of a struggle. I get booked pretty regularly now but it's more for extra cash as opposed to any reliable income.

Rates are kept pretty low (especially compared to what I see others charging on here) because there's a ton of users in the area who charge the same or even less.

What's more frustrating is I'll often get requests then get ghosted because they'll get somebody else. So I have to archive the request which affects my client acceptance rate.

How is it for anybody living in a similar area?
