Looking for feedback on my set-up for a 3" Avicularia Avicularia.
This is my first arboreal tarantula.
Enclosure: Tarantula Cribs Medium Treehouse Switch (6x6x8)
Light: Barrina Orbgrow 9W LED Puck
The canopy extension arrived today, but she's already anchored her webs to the ceiling of the enclosure and I don't want to stress her too much by messing up her web and adding 3" of headroom.
I'm concerned about the light, it was recommended by an acquaintance who has terrestrial tarantulas, and they use it for temperature control, but I wonder if it's too bright?
I appreciate any and all advice!
I just want my friend to have a good home.
That small blue bowl is for water, I also have a magnetic auto waterer that has cotton in the trough and its own water tank.
Temps are a consistent 70-80°F
Humidity is 65-75%
I was told this is a really good enclosure for arboreals, do I need to direct a fan on the other side of the room to ensure there's air flowing? Where it is now doesn't have much air movement around it.
Thank you!
Edit: forgot to add size of enclosure is 6x6x8", and I have ordered the canopy extension which will make it 6x6x11"
