Finishing Accutane at ~200 mg/kg but still not clear

25M, around 72 kg. I’ve been on isotretinoin since April 2025 and I’m due to finish on September 8. By the time I finish I’ll be at roughly 200 mg/kg cumulative dose.

The problem is I’m still not completely clear. I’ve had 2 actual pimples in the last month and I still have some closed comedones/clogged bumps. One of them I stupidly squeezed and picked at and it has stayed as a red bump/mark for a month now, which has made the whole situation even more frustrating.

My dermatologist still wants me to finish the course rather than extend it. After being on Accutane for this long and reaching such a high cumulative dose, I expected to have been completely clear for at least a month or two before stopping.

Instead I’m basically finishing while still occasionally breaking out and having closed comedones.
Has anyone else finished Accutane at a high cumulative dose while still getting occasional pimples or having closed comedones? Did your skin continue improving after stopping, or did you end up relapsing? I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who weren’t 100% clear when they took their final dose and what happened to their skin over the following 6–12 months.

Thanks all

Drilled through the floor

I bought a brand-new 2025 Toyota HiAce LWB and had a roughly $5k storage drawer/setup installed in the back.

When I bought the van, I honestly didn’t put much thought into exactly how the drawer system would be mounted. I just assumed a professional installer would use an appropriate method. In hindsight, I should have asked more questions beforehand, so I accept some responsibility for that.

I’ve since realised the drawers have been mounted by drilling directly through the factory floor of the van in 4 locations.

The van is probably the biggest purchase/investment I’ve made, so seeing holes drilled through the floor of a brand-new vehicle has me pretty concerned about what I’ve done to it.

I’m mainly wondering:

Does this create any meaningful structural, corrosion, water-ingress or resale issues if the holes are properly sealed? From people who actually fit out vans: have I genuinely done significant damage here, or am I massively overthinking some mounting holes? Have I voided my Toyota warranty?

Not trying to blame the installer for the fact I agreed to have the system installed without asking how it would be mounted. I just want an objective idea of how bad this actually is and whether there’s anything I should do now to protect the van long-term.
