How does your department handle truck checks?
I served as a volunteer for about 8 years before stepping away for family and health reasons — but the fire service never really leaves you. One thing that always bothered me was how clunky our truck check process was, so I've been quietly building an app to address it. Before going further, I'd love some honest input from people still in the trenches.

- What does your department currently use for truck checks? (Paper, spreadsheet, an existing app, nothing formal?)
- How satisfied are you with it — does it give you accountability and issue tracking, or does it go in a binder and disappear?
- What's your biggest frustration with the current process?
- Would a purpose-built app interest you if it was affordable, required no special training, and didn't need an IT person to set it up?
