Babysitting for the first time - help!!
Hi! So I, 17F, have been asked by a lady I sing in a church choir with if I could babysit her grandkids, 5M and 3M. I have experience volunteering with the kids program at my church, I help with the preschoolers. However, I've never watched kids on my own or anything like that, only with another person supervising as well. I'm very interested in doing it, but I'm quite worried. I'm familiar with preschool aged kids, but how different are 3 year olds?
She said they're both very independent, but i dont know what that means for such a young kid. I'm totally willing to help them out with whatever they need, I just want to be prepared. Their grandmother asked if I'd be willing to come to her bowling league on Wednesday and watch them there, so that she'd be close by.
What do I need to know? And what things and activities should I do with them/bring?
