I am a preschool teacher in elementary school.
I have found out that my para next year is probably going to be switched to one of the most difficult paras in the school. She finds her role to be more of the teacher role and is very bold and bossy. I want to make it clear from the first day our division of rules and responsibilities.
Does anyone have any good documents they use or tips on how to make this work from the very beginning with regards to the fact that is my classroom and she is there to support me?

How do you feel about graduation ceremonies for 3/4 year-old preschool?

I strongly feel that they’re not graduating anything they’re being promoted to the next grade. Half my class will go to kindergarten and half return for four-year-old preschool. We are doing an end of year celebration with a picnic a little song and they get gifts.

I have parents that are absolutely irate that we don’t do a proper graduation. How does everyone else handle this?
