So im working on a ttrpg and as of right now the rulebook for the game is 16 driffrent notepad text files

I want to format it is a way much cleaner to read

Im not looking to add art or anything at tbis stage

Just 1 file with all the information and a table of contents to look up what information is needed

Is their anything softwhare anything can recommend to help format the book and keep things in order

So far all I can find is ms word or Google docs and both of those do not look friendly when it cones to formatting
