I’m in the early stages of building a fashion brand and have a number of design concepts and mood boards, but I don’t have a formal fashion design background.
I’d love to learn how founders typically go from an idea to a finished garment. Do you work with freelance fashion designers, technical designers, pattern makers, or sample makers first?

What type of professional did you hire first?
How much involvement did you have in the design process?
