Flooded Sea Temple

Used the sewer water tiles and some cardboard tiles from the old D&D Essentials Tiles to create a flooded sea temple with huge crevasses in the main room. And yes, that is a cat toy with pipe cleaners taped to it to represent the big bad (the Slithering Horror). :)

Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Created a bridge room with the sewer, basic, and angled sets. This scene was set in the Temple of Demogorgon where the adventurers had to solve a puzzle at the far end of the bride in order to pass into the shrine area beyond. In the waters below were two water weirds that each appeared as one of the two heads of Demogorgon. On the party's return trip across the bridge they were confronted by a trio of assassins that had tracked them to the temple. Glad I was able to get two battles out of this build.

Secret Gambling Den

Just a simple build I did for a secret gambling den located under a tavern. The stairs lead down to a guard at the doors. Past that were tables set up for gambling, an area for socializing when not gambling, a bar, fireplace, and even a privy. Needless to say, the party still managed to find a way to get into a battle here.

Small Dungeon

A small dungeon I created a few years ago. I honestly can't remember what adventure I used this for. :)

Who Would Fall for Elizabeth?

In the world of soap operas, often times unlikely characters who cross paths or come into each other’s orbit on a regular basis fall in love and become romantic interests. We’ve seen this time and time again with characters (Carly and Valentine is a recent example). Some characters seem more viable to be romantically linked with others while other characters have a more limited range of potential partners. I believe that Elizabeth is a character that has the highest likelihood of other characters falling for her. Elizabeth is empathetic, compassionate to a fault, intelligent, and an absolutely timeless beauty. How could the other residents of Port Charles resist being enamored with her?

But which characters on the canvas who have not already been romantically linked to her could really fall for Elizabeth? Note that these are my thoughts on who might develop feelings for Elizabeth, not whether she’d be interested in them.

I think that Chase, Cody, Dante, Isiah, and Michael would all absolutely fall for Elizabeth if they were to spend significant time in her orbit (Dante already has a crush on her). I could see Gio and Spinelli developing secret crushes on her. I also think that Kristina or Britt could fall for Elizabeth given the right circumstances.

Which characters do you think would be unable to resist developing romantic feelings for Elizabeth?

Ground Floor of Merchant's House

This is the ground floor of a rich merchant's house that ended up being the location of an unexpected showdown between the adventuring party and a vampire.

What Do We Know About Director Cullum?

What do we know about Director Ross Cullum?

Not much. As one of the two big bads of the major story arc involving Britt, Cassius, and cold fusion, we don’t have a lot of info on this character.

What we do know is that he is the European Director of the WSB.

He is an expert in all aspects and history of Caesar Faison (which includes his children, Peter, Britt, Nathan, and Cassius) as well as the villain’s scientific projects.

He's been involved in some criminal activities since around 2006.

He is trained in psychological warfare as proven when he manipulated Anna Devane into thinking Caesar Faison is still alive.

He is a highly trained martial combatant. He was even able to beat mob enforcer Jason Morgan in hand-to-hand combat.

He hired an assassin to bomb Sonny Corrithos’s penthouse in order to kill the mob boss. Hired a second assassin to kill Sonny in Los Angelos.

He can be incredibly polite and cordial when dealing with the public, unless he feels such subterfuge is no longer necessary, then he freely reveals his menacing personality.

He does not tolerate betrayal, and has shown incredible ruthlessness when dealing with those who have wronged him. This was displayed when he brutally stabbed Marco Rios seven times, leaving him to bleed out on the floor of the Miller & Davis Law Firm.

He has a sadistic streak, as shown in his dealings with both Britt Westbourne and Jack Brennan.

But that is about it on what we know about Ross Cullum.

I’d like to know his motives for betraying the WSB and working with Sidwell to create a cold fusion device in order to sell it to the highest bidder. Is it money? Revenge against the agency? Something else?

Is there any redeeming qualities of the character we’ve not seen yet?

Would he really kill Rocco if he learned he was the one who shot him?

Is he planning on killing Cassius once the cold fusion device is created and he has no further need of Faison’s children?

I ask these questions because while I really enjoy the character and he makes a great villain, we just don’t know any real details about why he’s doing what he’s doing. Just existing to be the big bad guy causing trouble for all our favorite GH characters is just not enough – we need to know what drives him to do what he does so that it gives meaning behind his actions. Otherwise, he just exists in the story to stir up trouble and to be an obstacle for our heroes.

I really hope the writers give us some insight into Director Ross Cullum soon to help us understand him a bit better as I think it would really add some layers to the story.

What do you all think?

Could Britt Be Charged With Assault & Kidnapping?

Given that Britt assaulted Elizabeth, then took Rocco without his parents permission, could she be facing assault and kidnapping charges?

Would Elizabeth and Dante file those charges in order to mobilize the police to track her down? I'm hoping that they don't do this, because if they did, Director Cullum would soon get wind of this and then use the WSB to join the hunt for Britt and Rocco, which would be really bad.

Does anyone remember where Britt was planning to go before Rocco joined her? And do you think they'll even get out of the state of New York before having to hide out somewhere?
