I didn’t notice this mark on my hand until after getting an MRI. It could have been there before the MRI, but I’m not sure what would have caused it. It’s been a few weeks and I haven’t noticed any changes.

Does anyone know if something from the MRI could have caused it? It’s not painful. They had me hold a button attached to a wire in the same hand so my only guess is maybe it’s from the wire. I don’t remember if the wire went over or under my hand though and I assume under. There is a less visible line to then far right and below the main one. It was a lumbar MRI and it lasted around 15-20 minutes.

I’m not really worried about it - just curious!
