▲ 3 r/Jimny

Hey all!

Been looking at lifted 3rd gen Jimny's for over a year now and think they're so unique. Although impractical size wise, the older I'll get (23 now), the less likely I'll end up buying one and fear I'll regret not buying a car purely for fun.

That said, I'll only be purchasing one to drive if it's lifted. I've researched most of the car in its stock form but I'm finding it difficult to find resources of people daily-ing a lifted Jimny.

For context:
1st car was a 80bhp VW Golf
Current is a 170bhp BMW E92

  • I'm okay with two doors, rarely have more than one passenger
  • I'm okay with the decrease in engine power
  • Don't need the boot space
  • Will maybe do three motorway drives a month
  • No intention to off-road

Would love to hear advice specifically on daily driving a lifted Jimny regarding ride quality, fuel consumption, safety, tyre sizes, etc. Do be blunt if it's a stupid idea lifting only for aesthetic purposes.

Or if you have any resources please do share!

Thanks!
