I failed 4 subs in one sem

So for context I had recently have a family problem, regarding my dad who was sick, and now is on dialysis, he is stable now, I thought I was already good since I passed my first sem, but when it happened, the situation basically happened in the second semester, so, when my dad had that, I think I lost focus and now, I failed like 4 subs in second sem, the subs are;

Solution Thermodynamics, Separation Process, CC1 and Chemical Reaction Engineering,

Should I still continue this? Honestly what I'm needing aside from advice is a bit of a promise that in the end, all of this is worth it,

I'm in my 3rd year, 2nd sem, and supposedly I should have been getting some internships at summer, but I can't since, this subs are a prerequisite for that, any advice?
