Skinned this beautiful Open Bill Stork....now what?
Merely an amateur whose information came from YouTube. I am not too sure how to clean the flesh off the skull without damaging it too much.
The brain has been flushed out, and larger chunks of meat have been extracted. I do have insect larvae to help with the processing. As well as chemicals like Ethanol, Formalin, Hydrogen peroxide and Boric acid.
I have yet to apply any form of chemicals to treat the skin. Legs probably still have flesh in it. Accidentally punctured some parts of the skin(feathers entering holes) And this bird is filled without ectoparasites(dead after the freezing)!
What should my next few steps be?
