Pregnancy on odsp/partner that is not

I have a question in regards to this (somewhat) unique situation. My partner and I do not live together. We cannot afford to. His income would wipe out my benefits entirely and he does not make enough money for us to afford living together at this time either. We are hoping some day that will change though. So, for now, we have a LD relationship as he works several hours away. We recently had a pregnancy scare and I’m curious about what would happen if I were to accidentally become pregnant and how our relationship would affect my benefits, if at all, since we are in an active relationship. My worker said as long as I pay for all my own things, live separately and do not share any bills or go on his work benefits, then my relationship does not affect my odsp benefits. I’m worried a baby, whether we live together or not, would change this. He also said he would also want to take paternity leave to help me but we would still not be moving in together. I’ve never had a baby before and I have absolutely zero family to help me, only my partner, so the idea of doing everything alone is terrifying. He’s a great partner and would not want that for me, nor his child. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
