SSBF is the worst B school

Management ne honestly koi khaas mehnat hi nahi kari hai. Itna chutiya MBA college maine aaj tak nahi dekha. Bhai, tum log students se ₹22–23 lakh fees le rahe ho, lekin placements ke naam par wahi 3–4 companies ghuma phira ke la dete ho aur phir bolte ho ki placement support de rahe hain.

J.P. Morgan, Crisil aur BNY Mellon jaise naam suna ke marketing kar dete ho, lekin jo roles milte hain woh mostly operations wale hote hain. Aaj nahi toh kal AI unmein se aadhe kaam kha jayega. Strategic, consulting, investment banking ya high-growth roles laane ki himmat hi nahi hai in logon mein.

Sabse badi problem yeh hai ki Mumbai ke bahar inki duniya hi khatam ho jaati hai. Gurgaon, Bengaluru aur baaki corporate hubs mein opportunities hain, lekin wahan tak outreach karne ka effort hi nahi hai. Big 4 toh aaj kal har decent MBA college mein aati hai, lekin yahan unko properly tap karne ki bhi capability nahi dikhti.

Aur behenchod, jo cheez mujhe sabse zyada shocking lagi, woh yeh ki KPMG aana chahti thi aur management ne bola ki abhi mat aao, hamara foundation programme chal raha hai, baad mein aana. Bhai, what the actual fuck? Kaunsi MBA college company ko placement ke liye mana karti hai? Tum company se bade kab ho gaye? Jab recruiter khud interested hai toh tumhara kaam red carpet bichhana hona chahiye, na ki unko wait karwana.

Placement process bhi kaafi ajeeb hai. Agar kisi student ka ek company mein selection ho gaya, toh usko doosri opportunities ke liye question kiya jaata hai. Agar koi student independently kisi aur company mein apply kare toh us par bhi unnecessary restrictions lag jaati hain. MBA ka purpose opportunities ko expand karna hota hai, yahan lagta hai opportunities ko control karna zyada important hai.

Ab seminars ki baat karein toh seminars ki kami bilkul nahi hai. Seminar pe seminar hote rehte hain. Guest sessions bhi ho jaate hain. LinkedIn pe photo daalne layak content ki koi kami nahi hai. Lekin behenchod placement ke time sabka petrol khatam ho jaata hai. Jab actual companies laani hoti hain, recruiter relationships build karni hoti hain, corporate outreach karni hoti hai, tab management ko jaise neend aa jaati hai. MBA college ka primary purpose placements aur career growth hona chahiye, na ki har doosre hafte auditorium bhar ke photo khinchwana.

Aur sabse zyada embarrassing cheez kya hai pata hai? Alumni network. MBA colleges apne alumni network par garv karte hain. Yahan haal yeh hai ki kuch alumni ne seedha muh par bol diya ki woh is college ke students ko refer nahi karna chahte. Reason? "Hum refer karenge toh humaari hi badnaami hogi." Socho kitni devastating baat hai yeh. Jab tumhare khud ke alumni apne professional reputation ko bachane ke liye college ke students ko recommend karne se bach rahe hain, toh usse bada red flag aur kya ho sakta hai? MBA ki half value alumni network se aati hai, aur agar wahi network tumse distance maintain kar raha hai, toh phir premium fees lene ka justification kya bachta hai?

Faculty ki baat karun toh situation aur bhi depressing hai. Jo genuinely achhi faculty thi, woh college chhod ke chali gayi. Jo bachi hai, unmein se kaafi logon ko khud concepts ki clarity nahi hai. Aisa lagta hai kisi bhi faculty ko koi bhi subject pakda do, woh padha denge. Chahe unko aata ho ya nahi aata ho.

Classroom teaching ka level kai baar itna basic hota hai ki lagta hai ChatGPT ka output sun rahe hain. Bhai, agar wahi karna hai toh hum khud ChatGPT khol lenge. ₹22–23 lakh kis baat ke de rahe hain phir?

Ek faculty mutual funds padha rahi hai, doosra blockchain samjhane ki koshish kar raha hai bina khud concept samjhe. Blockchain ke lectures mein students ko hi faculty ko explain karna pad raha tha ki actual concept kya hai. Kuch professors derivatives padha rahe hain lekin concepts itne half-baked hote hain ki clarity milne ke bajaye confusion aur badh jaata hai.

Kai baar lagta tha ki faculty padhane se zyada subject ke saath survive karne ki koshish kar rahi hai. Jo concept ek experienced professor 20 minute mein crystal clear kar sakta hai, uske liye poori class nikal jaati thi aur end mein bhi clarity nahi aati thi.

Ek do professors genuinely achhe hain jinhone concepts properly samjhaye aur actual learning karwayi. Unse derivatives aur finance ke concepts samajhne mein clarity mili. Lekin unfortunately woh exceptions hain, majority nahi.

Aur placements ke liye bhi management ki mentality samajh se bahar hai. Bhai, recruiter relations par paisa kharch karo. Corporate outreach badhao. Companies lao. Bachchon ko opportunities do. Agar recruiters ko engage karne ke liye investment karna pade toh karo. Students ka selection hoga toh college ka naam bhi banega. Lekin yahan lagta hai cost-cutting aur excuses hi primary strategy hain.

Sach bolun toh lagta hai management ko placement statistics improve karne se zyada fee collection aur marketing brochures maintain karne ki chinta hai. Ground reality aur promotional material mein itna gap maine bahut kam institutions mein dekha hai.

End of the day, MBA ek investment hota hai. Jab koi student apni savings, family ka paisa aur do saal ka time invest karta hai, toh uski expectation hoti hai ki college uske career ko seriously lega. Yahan kai baar lagta hai ki management ko students ke future se zyada processes aur bureaucracy ki padi hui hai.

Mere liye sabse frustrating cheez yahi thi. Premium fees, average placements, weak recruiter network, disappointing alumni support, questionable academic quality aur ek aisa administration jo kabhi kabhi students ki growth facilitate karne ke bajaye usse restrict karta hua dikhta hai.

MBA ka naam leke ₹22–23 lakh charge karna aasaan hai. Value deliver karna mushkil hai. Aur unfortunately, meri nazar mein yahi woh jagah hai jahan yeh institution sabse zyada fail hota hai.
