What to expect for Midnight at The Never Get

Hi there!
I’m not from London, however will be in London during September, and I noticed that Midnight at The Never Get will be playing during this time. I was wondering if anyone knows what I could expect of this show, genres, themes, tones, etc. Is it something that people think will be worth seeing? I was also having a look at the seating plan and noticed the venue looks quite different to most theatre venues I have been to, is it a different set up for the audience? I am not very knowledgeable about London theatre but would love to get to see Ben Platt preforming in something live so am very interested in getting a ticket! Any info would be amazing!!

Golden Boy at Almeida Stage Door

Hi!
I have never attended a show at the Almeida Theatre before. I am just about to book a ticket for Golden Boy, however would love some advice regarding stage door, as stage door is one of my favourite parts of seeing live theatre.

From looking at the seating plan it looks as though the Almeida is a small venue. Do actors normally stage door here? Do we think Josh will stage door for Golden Boy? I am debating between a ticket at the back of the stalls, or at the front of the circle. Will being in the circle affect my chances of getting close enough at stage door, or is the venue so small it doesn’t make a difference?

My only experience with stage door was when I watched Evita last year, which was a crazy experience because so many people who didn’t even watch the show turned up to see Rachel. I’m just unsure if I should worry about this again or if that was a one off for Evita?

I know nobody will really know until the show starts but any guesses or info from other shows would be amazing!!

Stage Door for The Oresteia at The Bridge Theatre

Hi there!

I have a ticket to see The Oresteia at The Bridge Theatre in September as I am a massive fan of Tom Glynn-Carney. As I am not originally from the UK (from Australia but just luckily will be in London when this show is on) I haven't been to many live theatre shows and don't particularly know how stage door works. Is stage door easily accessible at The Bridge Theatre? I know it hasn't officially begun yet so no one really knows, but is it likely the actors will come out to sign things after the play finishes? If they do come out do you have to leave before the final bows to get into a position where you could get something signed at stage door?

Any advice would be great, thank you!

hi there,

I am planning on volunteering at a hostel in the centre of edinburgh from september till november, however was wanting some ideas of how much you would recommend having saved? the accommodation will be free as well as breakfasts, i would love to be able to still go out to the pub and do the occasional activity, but just have no idea what sort of budget I should be setting for myself?
