long shot from a few details, set in an older time in a different world, people were born with powers and some stronger than others.

a prince joins a “chosen one” the prince comes from a distant land and his father gives him armor and a magic wavy sword that had powers of some sort. only the king was allowed to have children of that kingdom because everyone lives so long(I think) and the actual ”chosen one” was a kid who got the prophecy that a lighthouse was going to explode. the cover I believe had a white lighthouse on fire with a black handprint in the middle of it. sorry for the obscure details
