A Note About Misinformation
With the growth of this subreddit, there has been a noticeable rise in comments spreading misinformation, particularly with regard to suggestions for new players. It is in this context that I would like to remind everyone of the existence of rule 3 of this subreddit: Don't spread misinformation.
"This subreddit exists to combat the spread of misinformation in War Robots. A lot of casual players lack knowledge about the game, so let’s only share information that will improve everyone’s gameplay experience!"
If you are not sure whether you are spreading misinformation to new players, or even if you are confident you are not spreading misinformation to new players, I strongly encourage everyone to please first check the newbie guide, linked here: Newbie Guide/F2P Value Rating Sheet. This link can also be found in the subreddit's pinned directory, and also in the automod comments on posts asking for advice. Defer to this document first before making or upvoting any highly questionable suggestions to new players, such as (but not limited to) investing in Luchador or avoiding investing in Imugi.
I strongly restrict my own moderative actions primarily because my role is honorary. The other moderators both generally support the freedom of people to be wrong. However, rule 3 exists for a very good reason. This guide subreddit is intended to not devolve into the misinformation pool that is the main subreddit. Please do your part to help keep it that way. Your vigilance is appreciated.
