Hi, I’m seeking advice for me and my fiancé as we plan our 2027 or 2028 honeymoon. For context, we are fairly well-traveled for your average urban educated middle class Americans but not typical luxury travelers. A family member has offered us a $50K budget for a dream honeymoon.

Where would be your overall top destinations on that budget for ~2 week trip? Where would be locations, in your opinion, less valuable for the comforts of luxury travel? We equally love outdoorsy adventure and cultural historical sites/museums— the only thing we are less keen on is the one stop shop gorgeous resort where you do nothing in a beautiful place.
