Hi! I’m currently a Cognitive Science bachelor student (4th semester) and I also already have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Romania.

My goal is to do a Master’s in Psychology (cand.psych.) in Denmark after finishing my degree, and I’m planning to learn Danish to meet the language requirements.

From what I understand, admission can happen either through legal claim or through quota 2 (for applicants without a Danish BA in psychology). I would be applying through quota 2.

My questions:

Has anyone actually been admitted to psychology through quota 2 at universities like Aarhus University, University of Copenhagen, or Aalborg University?
Do they realistically accept external applicants with a psychology background from another EU country?
How strict is the ECTS matching (e.g. clinical, developmental, etc.)?
How many students are admitted each year, and are any of them from quota 2?

I’m trying to figure out if this path is realistic or if I should plan for a master’s in another country instead. I will not continue a master in Cognitive Science anyway.

Any experiences or insights would be really helpful.
